Starting in the winter semester 2024/25, all bachelor and master theses at the MSM will be allocated to the departments through a central assignment process.

The Chair of Microeconomics and International Economics primarily supervises theses in the field of Industrial Organization. Further information about the procedure and requirements can be found in the document Informationen zu Abschlussarbeiten (in German).

In the winter semester 2026/27, we are offering two dates for the Colloquium: January 27/28, 2027 (exact date to be determined) and March 17/18, 2027 (exact date to be determined).

To participate on one of these dates, the thesis must be submitted no later than 3 weeks before the colloquium. The latest submission date for the colloquium on 27./28.01.2027 is 07.01.2027, and for the colloquium on 17./18.03.2027 it is 25.02.2027. In addition, registration is required. This must also be completed no later than 3 weeks before the respective colloquium date by sending an e-mail to the chair’s office (Lehrstuhlsekretariat).
